During Sherrie’s many years with IMS Legal Strategies, she formed strong relationships not only with major law firms but also with leading subject matter experts from around the world. Those friendships and connections developed when she first started as recruiter, and her network has grown exponentially throughout the years. As senior client manager, she supplies experts in the fields of pharmaceuticals, energy, transportation, finance, telecommunications, global trade, manufacturing, technology, and more. Even when her clients request witnesses with unique and distinctive attributes, Sherrie knows such witnesses or knows where to find them.
Prior to joining IMS, Sherrie was executive director of the Pensacola Opera, where she generated sponsorships, wrote grants proposals, and created business partnerships. She was also formerly an account executive responsible for TV advertising sales for WATE, an ABC-affiliated network located in Knoxville, Tennessee. In addition, she has been a counselor for deaf and hearing impaired students at Florida School for the Deaf and Blind. To Sherrie, her main responsibility at her previous positions and at IMS is the same—to reliably and creatively find solutions that help others.
Sherrie received a master’s in community agency counseling/educational psychology from University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a BA in audiology/speech-language pathology from Florida State University, and she is fluent in American Sign Language. Outside of the office, she is an active participant in political and community organizations, and she most recently served as member of the Educational Practices Commission, State of Florida, a quasi-judiciary body appointed by the Florida Senate. When she has a moment for herself, Sherrie enjoys painting, reading, and gardening.
