IMS Legal Strategies Chief Technology Officer Andy Hoyt leads the company’s global technology strategy and is responsible for engineering operations, infrastructure, and platform innovation. He works closely with executive leadership to ensure technology investments support the company’s business objectives and long-term growth while maintaining a focus on security, reliability, and operational excellence.
In his role at IMS, Andy oversees initiatives focused on cloud modernization, engineering effectiveness, platform scalability, and the practical application of artificial intelligence. He is responsible for guiding the evolution of the company’s technology platforms and engineering practices, helping teams deliver solutions efficiently while maintaining high standards for performance and reliability.
Prior to joining IMS, Andy held senior technology leadership roles across legal technology, enterprise software, retail technology, and SaaS organizations. Throughout his career, he has worked with global teams and has been responsible for technology organizations supporting customers across multiple international markets. These experiences have provided the foundation for his leadership at IMS, where he combines technical expertise with a strong focus on business outcomes.
Andy holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He resides in Atlanta with his wife and three children.
