Kevin Roux, PhD, JD, MPS, is a senior recruiting consultant in the custom expert witness services division at IMS Legal Strategies. Drawing on his doctoral research in bias identification, Dr. Roux applies psychological insights to engage effectively with professionals across diverse disciplines. His work bridges academic rigor and practical expertise, supporting strategic talent acquisition, executive leadership, and expert witness search initiatives.
With more than a decade of experience, Dr. Roux has helped organizations across the legal and business sectors strengthen internal corporate structures, refine leadership selection and development strategies, and identify top-tier executive candidates for high-level roles. He brings a rare blend of academic insight and practical expertise, having served in both practitioner and educator capacities.
Dr. Roux previously directed legal talent acquisition and recruiting for a global organization and has a rich background as a practicing family law attorney and legal consultant in the financial industry. He continues to serve as an adjunct faculty member at The Chicago School, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology, criminal justice, and government. He also contributes to academic scholarships as a dissertation committee chair and reader and serves as a McNair Scholars faculty advisor.
Dr. Roux is based in Dallas, TX, and enjoys staying active through health and fitness, traveling the world, and discovering new restaurants. He shares his home with two beloved dogs—an Aussie Doodle and an Arubian Cunucu rescue.
