IMS Legal Strategies Engagement Manager Cordell DeShields serves as the primary liaison between experts and IMS’s administrative support teams, ensuring every engagement runs smoothly from start to finish. He establishes relationships with contracted litigation and consulting experts, guiding them in their roles and responsibilities throughout the engagement. He maintains consistent communication that strengthens collaboration among all stakeholders and ensures a seamless engagement experience.
Prior to stepping into his current role, Cordell worked in contract administration and support. Before joining IMS, he worked extensively in human resources, recruiting, financial services operations, and customer engagement, which strengthened his ability to navigate cross-team environments, streamline operations, and deliver solution-driven support.
Cordell grew up in Baltimore and is a huge fan of the Baltimore Ravens. He currently resides in Florida, where he dedicates time to volunteering at community organizations such as Paul’s Place, Catholic Charities, and Habitat for Humanity. His hobbies include cooking, attending auto shows, and traveling across the country to experience diverse cultures.
