Senior Trial Consulting Advisor Kevin Hout is a nationally recognized authority in trial graphics and litigation consulting. He partners with legal teams to develop powerful visual advocacy solutions that bring complex evidence to life, enhancing juror understanding and supporting successful outcomes in high-stakes litigation.
For more than 30 years, Kevin has led and managed the development of graphics, videos, computer animations, and multimedia presentations to explain complex technical and legal issues in court, including the creation and validation of highly technical computer simulations and animations. He specializes in complex matters involving intellectual property, antitrust, construction, employment, breaches of contract, products liability, and other areas of law. He has testified in courts of law regarding the accuracy and admissibility of computer-generated animations.
Kevin co-founded Fulcrum Legal Graphics, which he led as its president for more than 25 years. Fulcrum became an IMS Legal Strategies company in 2026.
Kevin has given lectures as an expert in high-tech demonstrative evidence to groups such as the American Bar Association, Association of Business Trial Lawyers, Defense Research Institute, American Inns of Court, American Board of Trial Advocates, Association of Defense Counsel, and others.
