Expertise
Taylor Batten is a jury research associate with IMS Legal Strategies. Her primary focus is conducting and analyzing jury research projects to support client trial teams. Taylor evaluates potential jurors’ attitudes, biases, and backgrounds to help refine trial strategy, jury selection, and case presentation. She manages jury research projects from inception through completion and has distinguished herself as an effective and engaging small group moderator.
Taylor joined IMS via its acquisition of First Court, a nationally prominent jury research and trial consulting company. Earlier in her career, she worked as an intern with multiple trial consulting firms, where she conducted juror background research, moderated deliberations, and researched and wrote on a range of topics within the trial consulting field. Through these experiences, she developed a strong foundation in juror decision-making, qualitative research methods, and litigation support.
