Senior Trial Consulting Manager Marissa Harrington arms attorneys engaged in complex commercial litigation with the strategic tools and perspectives they need to win their cases. For over a decade, she has provided them with powerful case themes as well as graphic images and multimedia presentations to reinforce and bolster those themes. Marissa has developed keen insights into the ways jurors process visual media and applies those principles in each case on which she works.
Marissa’s practice is focused on high-level matters, including mass tort pharmaceutical cases, multinational insurance corporation cases, and intellectual property disputes that involve patent, trademark, and trade secret laws. She has created strategies for notable cases such as Huawei v. CNEX, Apple v. Samsung, In re Accutane Litigation, In re Zometa Litigation, and Golden Gateway v. San Francisco Waterfront.
Marissa is a former trial attorney and she served as law clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey. In the consulting realm, she was senior litigation consultant at TrialGraphix and vice president multimedia services & trial logistics for GCM Litigation Consulting. In both positions, she oversaw development of case themes and visual strategies. Today, as senior trial consultant at IMS, Marissa continues to provide high-level consultation on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.
Marissa earned a juris doctor at Seton Hall Law School and a BA from The George Washington University. Marissa, her husband, and two young children recently relocated to the East Coast and are looking forward to exploring the area as a family.
