Emma Winagle

As a designer on the trial graphics team at IMS Legal Strategies, Emma Winagle uses her artistic and scientific knowledge to produce visual content, including illustrations, diagrams, animations, and interactives, for use in all stages of litigation. She helps clients educate decision-makers by making complicated information more accessible and easier to understand. Her specialty is creating medical illustrations to support medical device patent disputes.

Emma is proficient at collaborating with legal teams to bring project concepts to completion. She effectively manages communication and scheduling while responding promptly and thoughtfully to feedback. She skillfully works with attorneys, expert witnesses, and litigation consultants to translate difficult scientific and medical concepts into clear, accurate, and engaging visuals.

Prior to joining IMS, Emma worked as a multimedia artist, user interface and experience designer, and freelance medical illustrator. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors: swimming, hiking, and foraging in the forests and on the coast in the Pacific Northwest.
