Bill Wein

Bill Wein, Executive Chairperson and co-founder of IMS Legal Strategies, is the driving force behind the development and expansion of the company. He pioneered the executive-recruiting approach to help lawyers find the very best subject matter experts. When he recognized that clients might benefit from a larger array of trial solutions, he initiated expansion of the company to include consulting services. Today, IMS offers its Am Law 200 and Fortune 500 legal department clients a full range of integrated services, including expert witness, litigation consulting, visual advocacy, and presentation technology services.

Every day, Bill dedicates himself to shaping company culture by ensuring IMS Core Values are at its heart. He inspires team members to work together to meet clients needs (Operate as One), to lead by influence, not authority (Exhibit Humble Confidence), and to embrace the prospect of change (Continually Improve).

Both inside and outside of the office, Bill exhibits the qualities of a servant leader. He is focused on helping others gain access to educational opportunities and improving overall economic equity within the community. He accomplishes these goals by serving as founding board member of the Equity Project Alliance, a progressive catalyst organization that confronts systemic racism and promotes transformative thinking, unity, and equity for everyone, as a board member of the Pensacola State College Foundation, which raises funds to enhance scholarships that open avenues for students to continue their educations, and of VetCV, an organization that provides military veterans with resources to help them transition careers. He also is an active board member for Innovation Coast, Temple Beth El Pensacola, and Juris Medicus and is an executive mentor and speaker at the University of West Florida College of Business.

Bill has received several business leadership and community stewardship awards and has been instrumental in helping IMS to secure dozens of industry, company culture, and growth awards from legal and business publications including the National Law Review, The National Law Journal, Corporate Counsel, New York Law Journal, Florida Trend, and Inc. magazine. Bill Wein holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and marketing management from the University of Colorado at Denver.
