Laura Dominic

Laura Dominic serves as a Senior Jury Consulting Advisor at IMS Consulting & Expert Service and has some of the broadest and deepest jury consulting experience in the nation. Laura is often steadfastly preparing witnesses for a deposition, running a mock trial or focus group, providing feedback for an opening statement, or assisting in the selection of a jury on a high-profile case.

When not consulting, Laura can often be seen in speaking engagements and Continuing Legal Education seminars. She has presented on a broad range of litigation topics including witness preparation, jury decision making, graphics, opening statement, closing argument, jury selection, motivated reasoning, and powerful speech for women.

Laura received her master’s degree in speech communication from the top ranked program at San Diego State University. Her research focused on juror perceptions of witness credibility. As a lecturer at the University, she developed and conducted programs in public speaking, nonverbal communication, advocacy, and persuasion. She previously provided communications consulting services for the San Diego Consulting Group and the Leadership Research Institute in San Diego. She is a member of the American Society of Trial Consultants.
