As a Jury Consultant with IMS Legal Strategies, Jorge Monroy assists our clients with a variety of jury research services, including focus group and mock trial facilitation, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and in-court jury selection assistance.
Jorge specializes in advanced quantitative statistical methods, leveraging data from jury research exercises and community attitude surveys to inform and enhance counsel’s trial strategies; he particularly enjoys developing juror profiles for use during voir dire. When he’s not crunching the numbers, Jorge helps craft supplemental juror questionnaires and voir dire questions, code/rank jurors’ questionnaire responses, and conduct social media analysis of prospective jurors.
Jorge received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and subsequently obtained a Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside. Jorge resides in the Los Angeles area with his wife and children. His passions include playing video games with his kids, playing guitar, traveling, and cooking new foods.
