Adam Bloomberg, Senior Client Success Advisor
Q: How/why did you get into this industry?
A: I have a degree in communications. During college, I enjoyed classes on public speaking, group decision-making, listening, and other theories of strategic communication. At the same time, I took readers theatre and was on the college radio station. Little did I know that these experiences would set me up for a 30-year career in the legal field. My first case was an accounting malpractice case—I was hooked! Before IMS, I was part of the ownership group at Litigation Insights. We wanted our business to evolve with a deeper bench of talent and service line offerings, and IMS was a perfect fit.
Q: What do you like most about your specific department and/or role?
A: In my new role leading our solution advisor team, we are pioneering a strategic approach to customer service in how we help clients solve their complex legal matters. This change in mindset is allowing all of our business development folks to be more tuned in and quicker to identify those customer needs. Honestly, I did not think I would be this excited about something new this far into my career.
Q: What do you think sets IMS apart from competitors or other companies?
A: It is an incredible time in our industry right now. IMS is pioneering a new wave of innovation that is pushing the boundaries of the use of technology in research and visual storytelling. Our client-centric approach, along with our highly skilled and experienced team of professionals, positions our clients to present their best case—whether that is pre-discovery, mediation, arbitration, or trial.
Q: How do the IMS core values align with your own?
A: Core values are something we take seriously, and that starts at the top. Our CEO James Crane boiled down our approach to Ownership Thinking, Humble Confidence, Quality & Excellence, Honor the Relationship, and Operate as One. All are equally important and something we consider in every case we are hired for and how we collaborate internally.
Q: If you were an attorney-client (or an expert witness), what would you find most valuable about the process at IMS?
A: Our holistic understanding of lawsuits and how they come in all shapes, sizes, and challenges is unmatched. We take the time to thoroughly identify our client's goals, ensuring that the solutions provided are perfectly aligned with their objectives. We understand that case strategy is not formed when a jury is seated; it is built early in the case. The IMS team helps clients develop their early strategy during discovery and solidify it as they move closer to trial, which is critical to their overall success and a positive outcome for the client.
Q: Do you have any predictions or comments on industry trends?
A: The recent enhancements to our exclusive research technology are a game changer for our clients. Being able to analyze and synthesize the data from a jury research project in real-time allows our clients to drive their strategy and case narratives with science.
Rebecca Prosise, Consulting Services Initiatives Lead
Q: How did you get into this industry?
A: I transitioned into the legal consulting industry after over 20 years in the service sector, where I managed stores across the US and Western Canada. My role in this sector felt much like running a business or a lot of small businesses—I was responsible for revenue growth, profit and loss, customer success, human resources, operations, and loss prevention. This helped me to develop a comprehensive understanding of how each function contributes to the success of each business. In 2014, I joined Tsongas Litigation Consulting as Operations Manager, where I was able to apply these skills. I helped drive the company forward, eventually contributing to its integration with IMS Legal Strategies. This journey has allowed me to leverage my experience in multifaceted roles to support both our clients and our team.
Q: What do you like most about your specific department and/or role?
A: I am passionate about continually improving—anticipating what is next for clients and enhancing our services to deliver an impactful experience. I also value the opportunity to collaborate across departments, bringing different teams together to foster a "stronger together" culture within IMS. This environment encourages innovation and teamwork, allowing us to consistently deliver impactful results for our clients.
Q: What do you think sets IMS apart from competitors or other companies?
A: IMS stands out by providing support at every stage of the litigation cycle, offering clients a true one-stop shop with some of the most talented professionals and advanced tools in the industry. Providing tools like Chronos® and The AdvantageSM is a key differentiator. It enables us to deliver tailored, end-to-end support for our clients that enhances insight and efficiency throughout the litigation process.

Q: How do the IMS core values align with your own?
A: Quality & Excellence is a core value at IMS that truly resonates with me. I approach every task with a commitment to excellence, striving to maintain high standards from start to finish in everything I do.
Q: Do you have any predictions or comments on industry trends?
A: With technology rapidly evolving, the focus is increasingly on providing clients with the best tools and a more efficient experience. IMS is leading this shift with our technology offerings. Chronos® provides a seamless platform for visualizing complex case timelines and managing exhibits, while The AdvantageSM gives clients real-time access to mock juror feedback with interactive data analysis.
