PENSACOLA, FLA | The National Law Review (NLR) named IMS Consulting & Expert Services (IMS) a winner in the 2021 “Go-To Thought Leader” awards. Every year, NLR selects the best articles and authors from more than 14,000 contributed pieces—with only 1% receiving the coveted award.

As the world emerges from the shadow of COVID-19, thought leadership from legal professionals is more relevant than ever—with many navigating new challenges presented by technology and legislation. 2021 marks IMS’ fourth consecutive win, and the fourth year of NLR’s efforts to recognize and commemorate thought leaders across a wide range of legal practice areas including data privacy and intellectual property. Though this year’s selection process was especially rigorous, IMS Insights content received two awards in the following categories:

  • Business of Law: Mentoring in the Legal Profession
    • IMS Insights Podcast episode 24 featuring Littler Mendelson Shareholder and former Litigation and Trial Practice Group Co-Chair, Helene Wasserman, on the impact of mentors in recruiting and retaining talent
    • IMS Insights Podcast episode 26 featuring Troutman Pepper partner, Ashley L. Taylor Jr., on how to identify mentors in the “new normal” remote workplace
  • Litigation: Jury Trial Prep
    • Five Tips for Enhancing Your Virtual Proceedings written by IMS Director of Trial Presentation and Technology, Jeff Dahm, on how to improve the quality of your virtual trials and arbitrations
    • IMS Insights Podcast episode 21 featuring Jeff Dahm on the staying power of virtual trials after the pandemic

“The caliber of content submitted is impressive and really resonates with the National Law Review's audience which continues to grow year after year,” noted NLR Editorial Manager, Rachel Popa. Award winners not only contributed timely legal content, but also thoughtful content speaking to the needs of their clients and NLR’s audience. “We're blown away by the quality of thought leadership submitted and thank our authors for helping the National Law Review achieve unparalleled readership numbers year after year."

IMS Insights will continue to support our clients’ needs by providing new topics, research, and timely discussions to help navigate the world of litigation. Readers and listeners can visit and subscribe to IMS Insights for the firm’s latest thought leadership.
