Q: How did you get into this industry and find IMS?
A: I got into this industry because I grew up within it—I came from a household centered around the legal profession. I first connected with IMS during my early days as a contractor doing trial technology work and eventually joined full-time.
Q: What do you like most about your specific department and/or role?
A: I really enjoy working with my “pres tech” colleagues. Our manager, Jeff Dahm, is always available and supportive, and the role allows us to collaborate with amazing people while learning something new with every trial.
Q: What special strengths and unique skills do you offer clients and colleagues?
A: I have developed a strong sense of anticipation in the courtroom—I can often see what is coming next and prepare accordingly. Every client has different needs, and I take pride in adapting to each one. Within our team, we feed off each other’s strengths and maintain a shared commitment to delivering a flawless product every time.
Q: Would you like to share any stories, memories, or accomplishments?
A: One memorable project was a case in Philadelphia where our trial graphics team and I worked tirelessly on a closing presentation involving two different clients. Despite the complexity, we delivered a seamless product for the jury—and the clients were incredibly appreciative.
Q: What has been your favorite case to work on so far?
A: It is hard to choose, but two that stand out are a wrongful death case in Dallas and an intentional discrimination case in Los Angeles. Both were impactful experiences where we made everything look effortless for the client. I love when it feels like the attorneys and I have been working together for years—that is the best kind of collaboration.
Q: What do you think sets IMS apart from competitors or other companies?
A: The level of care and attention to detail. We are always available to support our clients, even long after a case wraps up. Going the extra mile is just part of what we do.
Q: Do you have any predictions or comments on industry trends?
A: I think trial presentations will continue moving toward wireless technology. We will also see greater use of AI to quickly transcribe and process courtroom video—allowing attorneys to reference or impeach testimony in real time.
Matt Diaddigo, Senior Technology Advisor
Q: How did you get into this industry and find IMS?
A: I co-founded a company called Precise, Inc., based in Pennsylvania, where we began offering trial presentation services in 2000. After the pandemic, IMS reached out about acquiring Precise. Although we had not been looking to make this move, we quickly realized how well our cultures aligned, and joining IMS turned out to be a perfect fit.
Q: What do you like most about your specific department and/or role?
A: Every case is unique, with its own story and cast of characters. I enjoy the variety and the opportunity to contribute to cases that have a real impact. Plus, I get a front row seat to watch incredibly talented attorneys in action.
Q: What special strengths and unique skills do you offer clients and colleagues?
A: I have worked on more than a hundred medical malpractice trials, along with oil and gas and bankruptcy matters. With more than 25 years of experience as a business owner, I bring a strong perspective on complex commercial disputes and always try to read the room—whether that means offering strategic input or simply lending a hand wherever it is needed.
Q: Would you like to share any stories, memories, or accomplishments?
A: One memorable experience was serving as the hot seat operator during the cross-examination of a highly prominent businessman and politician in a bankruptcy confirmation hearing involving Atlantic City casinos.
Q: What has been your favorite case to work on so far?
A: Early in my career, I worked on a medical malpractice case involving a medication error. The trial became a defining moment for me—it was the first time I was seen as more than just the tech behind the screen. My strategic input helped turn the case around, and we achieved a multimillion-dollar verdict. The client has since become a close friend, which makes it even more meaningful.
Q: What do you think sets IMS apart from competitors or other companies?
A: IMS’s culture and core values truly reflect how the team operates—Honor the Relationship, Quality & Excellence, Operate as One, Humble Confidence, and Ownership Thinking. These are not just words on a wall; they are how people here approach every project.
Q: Do you have any predictions or comments on industry trends?
A: In addition to courtroom technology applications, AI will change how attorneys and vendors bill for their time. It can make lawyers more efficient, but that poses challenges for hourly billing. I think we will see creative new approaches to pricing as the litigation industry adapts to these efficiencies.
