DALLAS - (September 16, 2026) – IMS Legal Strategies (IMS) announces the creation of a new executive-level position, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), as part of its growth strategy that is designed to meet client needs. The company’s first CTO is Andy Hoyt, an experienced business technology leader and innovator.

Most recently, Hoyt served for more than three years as Chief Technology Officer at Aderant, a leader in helping law firms use technology to enhance client service. He previously worked as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Engineering at NCR Retail, overseeing key functions of its software portfolio, after nearly 20 years in software engineering, development and leadership roles for IBM.
In this new role, Hoyt will help IMS advance proprietary technology and data to augment the human experiences clients trust, including AI tools that help lawyers work more efficiently and effectively.
