Aaron D. Ford serves as Nevada’s 34th Attorney General. Before his election, AG Ford served as the Majority Leader of the Nevada State Senate and served as the Minority Leader, Assistant Majority Whip, chair of the Senate Committee on Natural Resources, vice chair of the Senate Committee on Education, and member of the Judiciary Committee. After law school, he clerked for the Honorable Denise Page Hood of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the Honorable Johnnie B. Rawlinson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Ashley L. Taylor Jr. is a partner at Troutman Pepper in the Consumer Financial Services practice—with a focus on regulatory matters involving state Attorneys General, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Ashley’s practice includes defending companies against enforcement actions brought by state and federal regulators, claims of unfair or deceptive acts or practices, and data security breach response.
Dr. Edwin Hernandez is a subject matter expert in personal area and wireless networking and communication, multimedia streaming, blockchain, artificial intelligence, mobile devices and systems, smartphones and wearables, and wireless embedded software development. He is an entrepreneur and inventor with over twenty-five years of experience in both startups and multinational corporations, including Microsoft and Motorola. Dr. Hernandez runs a technology incubator and accelerator that helps startups raise millions of dollars and bring new products to market.
Jennifer Schaller, Esq. is the Managing Director and co-founder of the National Law Review online edition. Prior to her tenure at the National Law Review, Jennifer served as in-house counsel/director at CNA Surety. She also served as a vice president of Aon Services Group in marketing and business development. Jennifer started her legal career as an insurance coverage attorney with Smith Amundsen, LLC in Chicago, and in risk management at various insurance organizations.
